500 mm Stroke Hydraulic Cylinder: Oil Volume, Speed and Rod

A 500 mm stroke (19.7 in) is the longest standard stroke of the Fenitsa FDH series; longer strokes up to 5,000 mm are built to order. At this length the rod still handles high loads, but the buckling check starts to matter for small rods.

The table gives each bore's oil volume, extend time and the load its standard rod can carry.

Example: a Ø80 cylinder with 500 mm stroke needs 2.51 L of oil to extend; a 20 L/min pump does it in 7.5 s.
