The FDH series is our standard hydraulic cylinder for general industrial work — pushing, pulling, lifting and positioning. It is built for 160 bar working and 240 bar test pressure (250 bar option) with ISO-based mounting options, so it drops into most machine designs without special brackets.
If your priorities are standard dimensions, short lead time and easy spares, start with FDH. For shock loads and harsh sites look at the KHS series; for tight installation space, the welded THS series.
| Mounting | Load path | Choose it for |
|---|---|---|
| Front flange | Rigid; best for push loads | Presses, clamping, pushing |
| Rear flange | Rigid; best for pull loads | Pulling, lifting |
| Foot | Side-mounted; bending moment on the bolts | Horizontal motion, machine beds |
| Trunnion | Pivots in one plane | Loads moving through an arc |
| Rear clevis | Pivots at the rear | Levers, gates, platforms |
Fixing a pivoting load with a rigid flange side-loads the rod and seals; use a clevis or trunnion with a rod eye instead. Size the bore with our hydraulic cylinder force calculator.
Fenitsa’s standard hydraulic cylinder series for general industrial use, built for 160 bar working and 240 bar test pressure with foot, clevis, flange and trunnion mountings.
FDH is the general-purpose standard series; KHS is a heavier-duty design for mobile equipment and harsh conditions. For steady loads in a normal environment FDH is sufficient.
