What Is a Place (Floor) Connection?
A place connection is the counter bracket bolted to the machine frame or floor that carries the cylinder’s rear hinge on a pin. Together with the hinge it gives the cylinder a pivoting rear mounting.
Its bolts must carry the cylinder’s maximum force, and the mounting surface must be flat and rigid.
